About Flow OT
Hello, I'm Rachel, and I am an Occupational Therapist with over 10 years’ experience working with both children and adults. I am based in East Hertfordshire and I cover Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire and outer London.
I have worked in a variety of settings within the NHS and private sector, from adult inpatient mental health to supporting children in the school environment.
My specialisms focus on paediatric occupational therapy, supporting children and their families with a broad range of conditions such as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), self-regulation difficulties, behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities.
With a caring and personable disposition, I work with my clients to focus on improving daily living skills, such as dressing and feeding, fine and gross motor skills, dexterity and handwriting, and anxiety management.
I pride myself on creating meaningful relationships with individuals allowing them to maximise their potential and achieve their goals. I am committed to providing the most effective support for my clients and I regularly participate in professional development activities to ensure I am up to date with the most relevant and evidence-based treatments.
I am qualified as an Advanced Special Yoga practitioner and am currently working towards the Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner status. I am registered with the HCPC (OT70558) and Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
